They say that beauty is in the eye of the beholder, so finding the perfect way to make someone’s day beautiful will vary from person to person. Here are a few ideas to get your creative kindness juices flowing so you can bring beauty into this world through kind actions.

5 Ways to Make Someone’s Day Beautiful

While you can make anyone’s day beautiful, seniors are at a higher risk of isolation and being lonely. Reach out to make a senior’s day beautiful – even if you are a senior yourself.

  1. Bring fresh cut flowers to a senior friend.
  2. Help a senior feel beautiful by having a girls’ day doing manicures or makeovers together.
  3. Give a senior a beautiful new scarf or piece of jewelry.
  4. Watch the sun set with your favorite senior.
  5. Visit an art gallery or go to a concert with a senior friend.

How will you bring some beauty into the world this week?

  6. Hello I’m a caregiver/ Housekeeper, well I clean a big home right by the beach that belongs to a 89 year old lady that lost her husband about 2 years ago, well I got to work on Friday and she said she had fallen and she’s a pretty strong healthy 89 that’s why she said she don’t need care at this time still. But she showed me her bruises all on her right side , I said could I please pray for you and please call me don’t hesitate if you need my help I’ll come right over. She was so happy and emotional she said I could use help another day out of week so I know she felt relieved

  10. It’s been a few months since I helped a lady who lives in same complex as I. The manager called me two different times t0hat an 85 yr old tenant needed someone to pick up her meds and toiletries she was out of for almost a week. A second time the same lady needed someone to go grocery shopping so I voluneentered to help get the things she needed and was so thankful when I delivered them to her 3rd for apt. I see her sometimes getting around with her walker and she’s always so happy to see me. I felt so warm inside and happy after helping her. I’ve offered mgmt I would help others if needed. I’m 76 and have a car and am happy to help anyone needing help. SUCH A GREAT FEELING!!! Lorna
