The Facts: With one in 10 people over the age of 65 living with Alzheimer’s disease, according to the Alzheimer’s Association, nearly everyone is touched by this disease in their lifetime. It only a takes few minutes to better educate yourself or share what you’ve learned about Alzheimer’s disease and other dementia disorders.

  2. I ask her if she knows what day it is and if she doesn’t I try to help her remember. I talk to my client and I explain to her what she has to do and if she doesn’t remember I show her.

  4. The slide show was very helpful in understanding how the dementia progresses and how to help your loved one get through the progression of thedisease! My sister-in-law has Parkinson’s and suffers from Louie Bodies disease! It has been hard to see her deteriation and the effects it has had on her family! I agree with the comments in the slide show on how to treat the situations for our loved one’s condition! We must have patience and show them love and understanding!
