There’s no doubt about it – we’re thankful for YOU! As a member of our community, you’ve been helping seniors, spreading kindness, and sharing your tips with others in the comments. Thank you for everything you’ve done this year to make the world a better place.

  1. Sent several cards to elderly & shut ins. I bought turkey cards really meant for children to send to Nursing Home residents because they were bright colors & sweet sentiments. I have already received calls from recipients for their cards. Two way street as far as blessing is concerned.

  2. Took Mrs.beverly to Doctor appointment .afterward we went to BLK side had CHURCHES CHICKEN STORE SHE LOVED IT ONLY PLACE I KNOW TO GET FRIED OKRA AN OUR FOLKS.WE WILL HAVE LIVERS AN GIZZARD NEXT TIME.BLESSIN YALL. BABA

  4. I have mailed thank you letters to doctors, friends, family members, and people in the community to let them know how much I appreciate them and what they do. I also this kid veterans, military, policemen, and firefighters for all they do. I am very thankful for all of my blessings!

  5. I went to the nursing home and lead a discussion on the power of Prayer. We shared what we are thankful for and being mindful of our blessings makes us feel better.

  6. With Thanksgiving coming up. We use this time to talk about what we as a family are thankful for. Me it is to have all my kids, grandkids and great grandkids at our table and that I have the chance to watch each and every one of them grow and see where their lives lead them.

  9. My brother in law had a really bad stroke a week ago. I’m here to help lift his spirits at the rehab. He needs prayers . Can’t talk or walk

  10. Wrote notes to those at nursing homes and their caregivers /staff to share how much appreciated and loved they are. Visited several residents and listened as they shared their stories of thanksgivings past. Listening sometimes speaks volumes.

  11. 2 couple missions met.
    Visited one in nursing home and the other in their home. We prayed toward the safe & success of coming thanksgiving activities and happy Christmas and new year. They were so happy.

  12. I wrote a note to my elderly caring neighbors that recently lost their daughter that is younger than I am thanking them for always being positive, always giving to others without being asked and always ready to help. I told them I was grateful to have them as friends and neighbors

  13. At church, prayed with a senior friend who was requesting prayer for her husband’s health. And then she prayed with me for my senior sister in law, who is facing, at this point, a possible cancer situation.

  15. My care mission experience is to give Seniors that I care for the feeling that they matter. That they have worth and value. I do this br giving them a listening ear, and giving them the support and encouragement that they deserve.

  16. I check on an elderly lady. I took her a decorated Christmas tree today. I went to the grocery store for her.
    I really enjoy visiting this little lady.

  17. I went by to check on and visit some of my moms neighbors this week. I swept and took the trash to the curb while I was there for two . I made too much sweets this week so I also brought a sample of my goodies along with me and gave it to most of them that I knew still was slowed to eat sweets . it made me just as happy as it did all them .
