Your Care Mission: “Without a sense of caring, there can be no sense of community,” said American writer Anthony J. D’Angelo.

Non-profit organizations are often the unsung heroes of communities. They help the sick, feed the hungry, and find shelter for the homeless. And chances are they are serving seniors in your community as well. According to Feeding America, nearly 5 million senior citizens currently face hunger in the United States.

This month, we’re challenging you to give back by doing one of these things to help support seniors in your community:

  1. Volunteer: Give your Time
  2. Donate: Give from Your Heart
  3. Advocate: Lend Your Voice

  6. Say down to talk to a homeless man and help him get his mind off things and help him remember that he is still a human being and that no matter what he’s going through in life that there are still good people out there who have a heart. Gave him a suitcase full of clean clothes to keep him warm, a bag full of non perishable foods and some warm pumpkin bread I freshly made
